I Historical background and composition The Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des C réateurs de Mode was established in 1973. The Federation is the executive organ of each Chambre Syndicale and is run by the president Didier GRUMBACH, who continuously acts with the authority entrusted to him by the fashion industry. The Federation is composed of: * The Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, created in 1868 which is composed of the Haute Couture houses, and firms that are not registered under the label of "Haute Couture" but which have a made-to-measure dressmaking activity in the Paris area.
